Accessibility Services
We are committed to accessibility.
Dance New Jersey is committed to offer programs and services at facilities that are accessible. If you have any questions about a particular event venue Dance New Jersey shall make every good faith effort to be totally accessible physically and programmatically.
DNJ shall be mindful at all times of maintaining diversity in its staffing, and in shaping the membership of its board. DNJ shall ensure that all volunteers and staff are fully trained and sensitive to the needs of its patrons and shall seek to secure performance and rehearsal facilities that are completely accessible to both artists and audiences.
Further, DNJ shall maintain programs that welcome and train artists with disabilities, and, as far as DNJ is able, to proactively provide performance and choreographic venues for their greater fulfillment and experience.
DNJ provides assistive listening devices when requested at least two weeks ahead of in-person events. DNJ provides program and event materials digitally through the DNJ website; large print programs and event materials are available for in-person events when requested up to two weeks ahead of event; open-captioning is available for virtual events when requested up to two weeks ahead of event.
