The annual Day of Dance is an accessible, family-friendly program, featuring outdoor performances throughout the park, is a remarkable afternoon of dance. The festival’s 2022 theme is Mud Baths. While engaging with literal earth, mud, and clay, these site-specific dances reflect on nature, place, sculpture, the environment, time, and histories. Durational performances will begin at 1pm and continue at different locations throughout the day. This is a festival that brings you to multiple spaces at GFS, so as much as possible, please wear comfortable shoes… not only the artists will be moving!
